A Variety Of Different Adventure Books

By Cecil Adamole

There are a lot of different kinds of adventure books and they all have a common thread which is the fact that they can transport the reader to an exciting and new place. They usually have a plot that is centered around some kind of mystery or a problem that has to be addressed. At times, they include elements of fantasy which can transport people and make them believe that they are in a mysterious and even mystical land.

Some books are written for kids and have engaging characters and fantastic places. There are others that are made for a teen reader and could be about a hero or a heroine who is around their age and may be in a mundane setting that turns into something fantastical. Other stories are geared for adults and are about mature topics like romance, or violent situations that may not be right for a younger audience.

The scenarios may include normal everyday characters. These people may live in the modern era or at any time period. Their location can also be anywhere that the author can imagine and may be a believable location or might be something out of the author's imagination.

These normal, average characters might be in scary situations. They may be called on to resolve a problem or solve some type of mystery or to even save someone's life. The main character might have to go through some scary realistic situations like travel, a chase or a treasure hunt.

They are thrilling and take the reader to a place where they can live through the characters. A lot of the story lines may be exciting and thrilling, but would not be nearly as fun if experienced first hand. Some of them might even be impossible to live out in the real world.

Adventure books are popular and are exciting. They are appealing to a wide variety of people including kids, teenagers and grown-ups. There is no limit at all when it comes to the characters, the location and the story plot. They can talk about real situations or fictional places and story lines.
