The keyboard can be attached to virtually any digital audio workstation for advanced recording sessions.

Several tools are in the keyboard making it easier to be a powerful instrument from the first moment you use the keyboard. There are entire keyboard song title set-ups. The only downfall of the Yamaha YPG-635 is that keyboard's speakers are low in volume. This drawback can be easily worked around. If the individual had plans to use this keyboard in a live performances or simultaneously with additional instruments that are loud in a rehearsal, you would need to add amplifiers to the system. On the other hand, if you are only going to use this keyboard in the house, then there will be no need for an amplifier. When all is said and done this keyboard is very good. The best part of this piano is that it can imitate a real piano effortlessly in terms of it's sound, act and feel.
