Fruits are very easy to paint because they do not have that many details that one would have to observe. After one has learned how to paint the fruits, he can then advance to learning to paint other things like flowers.
The very last in the curriculum would most likely be sculpting because it is the hardest for any student to learn. Now the art teachers would usually let the students first sculpt simple things like people. The teachers would ask the students to use some clay to sculpt things that they would want to sculpt.
