The Los Angeles arts scene can definitely rival any of the other arts capitals of the Earth. Visitors can explore one of the institutions of fine arts in Los Angeles to gain a deeper understanding of creative expression and culture. The following museums are particularly noteworthy places to visit:

Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA)

This respected museum can be discovered along Wilshire Boulevard's Museum Row. It features countless numbers of exhibits demonstrating some of the world's finest art pieces. Visitors can observe pieces created by ancient civilizations, and they can also gaze on more contemporary forms of art. Musical entertainment can also be enjoyed on certain days. This big complex can provide an entire day of new findings for visitors.

Getty Center

Visitors can find this museum perched above in the Santa Monica Mountains. Spectacular perspectives of the town can be seen from this location. A tram takes visitors from the lower parking area up the mountainside to the museum's entrance. The complex is decorated with pretty gardens and walkways. The museum makes a speciality of displaying pre-20th century European paintings and sculptures. The museum also includes performance artists. Visitors can additionally find a library featuring a huge collection of literary works. This is without any doubt one of the most well liked museums among the Los Angeles arts community.

Chinese American Museum
