Boston is a paradise for stunning art studios. On Newbury Street alone, there are 6 blocks of studios of all descriptions situated among Victorian houses, fancy bistros, and gift shops. It's quite enough to delight any person that is avid in art. Following is a rating of the top 4 Boston art studios. They are found in many areas of Boston and each has a specific appeal to a range of resourceful interests.

Gallery d'Orsay

This art gallerie is located at thirty three Newberry Street. It is as classy as the famous d'Orsay Museum in Paris. This Boston art gallerie has a bunch of old master art work by artists like Rembrandt and Renoir and 20th century artists like Picasso and Miro. Shows run for a month when a new collection comes on view. At one time or another, this gallerie houses work by Toulouse-Lautrec, Manet, Dali and some modern, living artists. The staff is very well informed and will help you in finding a creative work if they don't have it. This art is highly expensive. Those on a low budget will have to be satisfied to just look. This gallerie is open Monday to Sat. from 10AM 6PM and Sundays from 12PM to 6PM.

Judith Dowling Art Gallery

The positioning of this gallerie is at 133 Charles Street in the historic Beacon Hill area of Boston. Considered one of the most peculiar of Boston art studios, it was started in 1989 and focuses on fine Japanese art. There are paintings, ceramics, textiles and folks arts displayed in Japanese tradition. This is costly goods, however it is illuminating to do a "walk through." The gallerie is open Thursday thru Sat. 11AM 5PM or by appointment.

International Poster Gallery

The International Poster Gallery is a place for all kinds of art lovers. It is situated at 205 Newbury Street. It homes a massive choice of over 10,000 original vintage posters. It's one of the most vital poster collections globally. The price bracket is from about $100 up to a costly $20,000. These posters are marvellously displayed and the numerous themes showed are stunning art nouveau, art deco, geometrical designs, 1950's style (maniacs time), travel, food, war, vintage sports, music, and film, to name a few.

The SOWA Artists Guild

The South End district is home to the most casual and groovy of the art studios in Boston. The SOWA Artists Guild at 450 Harrison is found at 450 Harrison Street. This is an organization of pro artists who live and work in studios in the area. The living space and art studios of the artists are often found in old warehouses and factories. There are fifteen studios and fifty studios open from 9AM-7PM weekdays and 11AM-5PM on weekends. People read the various galleries and studios, and can buy from an artist, even talking a bit with him. One can find electrifying art work that's fairly inexpensive.
